Who the Business Success Spell is for
For the shop, the practice or the small business that needs customers, bookings and orders to start arriving. It works on the door of your business, never against any competitor.
- My shop is open but the customers are not coming in.
- I have a small practice and my calendar has too many gaps.
- I run an online store and orders have gone quiet.
- I am launching something new and want it to start well.
How your ritual is made personal
This working is called The Siftah Coin. One coin is taken as the siftah, the first sale of the day in the old Anatolian market custom: it is kissed once and passed over the name of your business and each line of what you offer, with the words 'may it be blessed', beside a green candle. The coin is then set beneath the name on the plate and never spent.
- Your business on paperI write the name of your business, and beneath it your own name and date of birth. Beside it I lay a list of what you offer, your products or services, one line each, just as you sent them to me.
- The siftahOne coin is taken as the siftah, the first sale of the day in the old market custom. Anatolian shopkeepers kissed that first coin, touched it to their brow and passed it over their goods, and a merchant who had made his first sale would send customers to the neighbour who had not.
- A single kissI kiss the coin once. It is treated as the seed of the day's trade, not as ordinary money.
- Over every lineI pass the coin once over the name of your business and then over each line of your list, from top to bottom. At every line I say, "may it be blessed", so nothing you offer is left out.
- Your wish and the green candleA green candle for flow is lit beside my plate for abundance. I read your wish aloud in your own words, whether you asked for customers, bookings or orders.
- Under the nameThe coin is set on the plate, directly beneath the name of your business. That is where it stays.
- Never spentThe seal is simple: the siftah coin is never spent, exchanged or mixed with other money. The seed of plenty is not sold. Your written record follows by email.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a spell to attract customers?
The Siftah Coin is my working for exactly that. It blesses the door of your business and everything you offer, in the spirit of the old market custom of the first sale.
What does siftah mean?
Siftah is the first sale of the day in Turkish market tradition. Shopkeepers kissed that first coin and passed it over their goods, believing it opened the day's trade.
Does a business spell work for an online shop?
Yes. The coin passes over your business name and your list of offers, wherever you sell them. Online stores, salons, studios and freelance work all suit it.
Will a business spell harm my competitors?
No. It works only on your own door and never against anyone else's. In the old custom, a merchant with a good first sale even sent customers to the neighbour.
How is my business success spell delivered?
Your written record reaches you through Etsy messages, and as a PDF for the longer strengths. Most records go out the same day the working is sealed.
