Who the Exam Success Spell is for
For the exam you have prepared for and do not want your nerves to take from you. It adds no knowledge; it keeps what you studied within reach on the day.
- I know the material but my mind goes blank in the exam room.
- I have a driving, language or professional exam coming up.
- I have prepared hard and want to carry it all in with me.
- I want to feel steadier on the day of the test.
How your ritual is made personal
This working is called The Green Rosemary. A fresh sprig of rosemary, the old herb of remembrance, is wrapped at its base with a paper carrying your name, the exam and its date, and stands in a glass of water beside a yellow candle. The water is refreshed each day so the sprig stays green until the exam; that morning it is lifted out and hung head down to dry.
- Your exam paperI write your name, the name of the exam and its date on a small paper. If you have a set start time or a particular subject that worries you, I add it, because the working is built around that exact day.
- Rosemary for remembranceI take a fresh sprig of rosemary, the herb Greek students once wore in their hair while they studied. Across Europe and the Mediterranean it has long been the herb of remembering.
- Wrapping the sprigThe paper is wrapped around the base of the sprig, so the stem stands in your name and your date. I speak your wish aloud as I wrap it, in your own words.
- Water and the yellow candleThe sprig goes into a glass of water beside my plate for abundance, where effort meets its reward. A yellow candle for clarity is lit next to it.
- Kept greenEach day I change the water so the sprig stays fresh and green until your exam. What is remembered stays remembered for as long as it is kept alive, so it is never allowed to wilt.
- Exam morningOn the morning of your exam I lift the sprig out of the water and say your name once more. What was kept fresh is now yours to carry into the room.
- Hung head downThe seal is the drying: the sprig is hung head down and left to dry. It was green until the day and dried on the day. Your written record then follows by email.
The six strengths

Frequently asked questions
Is there a spell to pass an exam?
The Green Rosemary does not replace studying and adds nothing you have not learned. It is made to keep what you studied within reach on the day, which is where many prepared students struggle.
Why is rosemary used for memory?
Rosemary has been linked to remembrance since ancient Greece, where students wore it while studying. The phrase "rosemary for remembrance" still carries that old belief.
When should I order an exam spell?
Ideally a few days or more before the exam, so the sprig can be kept green right up to the morning of it. Tell me the exact date when you order.
Can I get an exam spell for a driving test?
Yes. Driving tests, language exams, school finals and professional exams all suit this working. Name the test and its date on the order form.
How is my exam success spell delivered?
Your written record reaches you through Etsy messages, and as a PDF for the longer strengths. Most records go out the same day the working is sealed.
