How your ritual is made personal
This working is called Abre Camino, The Cleared Road. A path is drawn in chalk and seven stones are set along it, each one named as a blockage in your life. They are lifted one by one beside a white and a yellow candle, and a key is laid at the end of the cleared road.
- Naming your blockagesI read your order form closely, because this working depends on what you tell me stands in your way. I gather up to seven blockages from your words, a job that will not come, a debt, a doubt, a person's resistance.
- Your name paperYour full name and date of birth are written on a paper and laid at the start of the road. That is where you stand today.
- Drawing the chalk pathI draw a path in chalk from your name paper forward. It is a real road on the table, long enough to hold seven stones.
- Two candlesA white candle and a yellow candle are lit beside the path. White clears; yellow is the colour of opening and clear thinking, the morning after a long wait.
- Setting the seven stonesSeven stones are laid along the path, and as each one goes down I speak one of your blockages aloud by name. If you gave fewer than seven, the remaining stones stand for what you have not been able to name.
- Lifting them one by oneThen I lift the stones one at a time, starting nearest to you, speaking that each one leaves your road. The path is never cleared all at once; each obstacle is taken up on its own.
