Who the Cleansing Spell is for
Lifting what is heavy, stuck or left behind by others. It adds nothing; it draws out.
- You feel heavy and cannot say why
- Bad luck has come in a string and seems to follow you
- You carry something left behind by a person or a place
- You want a clean slate before starting over
- Other workings feel like they are pushing against a wall
How your ritual is made personal
This working is called The Salt and the Egg. An egg is passed over you with rock salt, sage and a white candle, drawing the weight onto itself. It is then carried far from the home and given to running water, so that what it took never comes back.
- I read the weight you carryFrom your order I learn what feels heavy, stuck or not your own, whether it came after a person, a place or a hard season. The egg will be passed over for exactly that.
- Your name paper stands for youI write your full name and date of birth on a paper, with the weight described as you described it. Since you are not with me, the paper stands in your place.
- The white candle is litA white candle is lit, and sage is kindled so its smoke clears the space before the drawing begins.
- The salt ring is laidRock salt is scattered around your name paper. Salt holds what is lifted, so nothing drawn out settles back where it came from.
- The egg is passed over youA whole egg is passed slowly over your paper, from the crown of the page to its foot, while I speak your name and name what is to leave. The egg takes the weight onto itself.
- The egg is carried awayThe egg is carried far from the home and given to running water. Water that moves does not bring things back, so what the egg took never returns.
- Your record reaches youI write the record of the cleansing, what was named, how the egg passed and where it was given to the water, and send it to you by email.
The six strengths
Every strength is cast personally and every one comes with a written record. What changes is how many nights the working is carried and how long the record runs.
| Strength | What you receive | Arrives | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Casting | One night: the egg passed downward over your name with salt in the hand, sage burned along the line, the egg given to running water. Record by message. | Record the same day | $4.90 |
| 3x Casting | Three passings over three nights, which is the traditional shape for anything carried longer than a season. PDF record. | Record the same day | $11 |
| 7x Casting | Seven nights, one passing per night and one layer lifted each time, with the record written as each layer comes off. | Record the same day | $26 |
| Fast Results | One passing with the sage doubled and the egg carried out the same hour, and the record written and sealed as it goes. | Same hour | $43 |
| EXTREME Results | Seven nights with a second egg passed over the home rather than the name; the longest reading of what came off and in what order. | Same hour | $53 |
| ULTIMATE RESULTS | Everything in Extreme, a final passing added on the fourteenth night to catch what settled back; recorded in twelve parts. | Same hour | $68 |

Frequently asked questions
What is an egg cleansing?
It is an old working where an egg is passed over a person to draw heaviness onto itself. Here it is done with rock salt, sage and a white candle.
Can an egg cleanse be done remotely?
Yes. Your name paper stands in your place, and the egg is passed over it with your name spoken.
What happens to the egg after a cleansing?
It is carried far from the home and given to running water, so that what it drew out is taken away and does not come back.
Should I do a cleansing before another spell?
Many people choose to. A cleansing clears what is stuck, and other workings then have clean ground to stand on.
How is my cleansing spell delivered?
Your written record reaches you through Etsy messages, and as a PDF for the longer strengths. Most records go out the same day the working is sealed.
